Like beds, pillows are companions with which you will be spending a large amount of time, so it is important to make sure your pillow benefits rather than detracts from your health. Make sure your pillow is suited to your manner of sleep; some sleep on their stomachs, while others sleep on their sides or backs - your pillow should specify which kind(s) of sleeper it is designed for. In addition to this, you need to consider whether your pillow is likely to attract dust mites or mold, and whether it contains any allergens.

One material that is particularly good with regard to both of these considerations is latex. It is naturally antimicrobial, resistant to dust mites and mold, provides resilient support, and does not have the unpleasant "off-gassing" effects of memory foam. Preformed latex pillows do not change shape, so it is important to buy one that suits your needs initially. However, pillows filled with shredded latex are also available; these can be molded to suit your needs, and they often feature a zipper so you can add or remove stuffing as needed. Kapok is another excellent pillow-material; cotton-like in texture, Kapok can be harvested naturally, and has hypoallergenic properties, as well as resistance to dust mites, mold, and mildew.

We also carry several lines of Pillow Cases and Pillow Protectors; please see our Bedding and Sheets category for those.

The items shown here are all designed for teenagers or adults; if you are seeking a pillow for a toddler or small child, please see our Children's/Baby Bedding category, instead.

Please note that all personal items including bedding products are final sale.
