Aviva carries the Omega single auger masticating juicers that turn a slow 80 RPM to ensure that nutrients aren't damaged by high heat. The single auger design extracts more juice from produce than the centrifugal designs. Most juicers use a centrifugal design (i.e. Breville, Hamilton Beach, etc.) which are noisier and not capable of juicing grasses or leafy greens like kale very well.
The Omega models can be used to juice grasses and leafy greens, as well as other produce, including fruits and vegetables. The two Omega models carried at Aviva are the VERT 330HD and the 8006, a more traditional design.
I recommend the VERT as the most versatile juicer for those who want to juice the widest variety of produce including fruit, leafy greens and grasses.
The Omega 8006 is the best juicer if you are juicing primarily grasses and leafy greens, but this model is not as good as the VERT for fruit, carrots, or other produce. Both units feature quiet operation. The 8006 design has the ability to make pasta and nut butters, a niche feature that most aren't concerned about, but it is a feature that the VERT does not have.
The Omega VERT models (330HD and 350HD) have a comprehensive 10 year warranty. The 8006 has a comprehensive 15 year warranty. The warranty covers all parts.
We also have the Lexen Healthy Juicer, an inexpensive manual juicer for those who want to juice wheat grass manually. This juicer is only recommended for grasses (i.e. wheat grass) or leafy greens, and is not recommended for other forms of produce.
