Oleuropein is one of the protective compounds found in olive leaves; it has been shown to have antioxidant, antibacterial and antifungal properties.
This extract has been standardized to contain 17% Oleuropein (which is stronger than some types on offer). As a whole, Olive Leaf Extract is far more potent as an antioxidant than even green tea or Vitamin C, and in addition to promoting a healthy immune system, it has been shown to be able to help the cardiovascular system and support maintaining healthy blood pressure within the normal range.
