Probiotics are the "friendly bacteria" that help repopulate the balance of beneficial microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract aiding with digestion, nutrient absorption, and bolstering the immune system. Probiotics even help produce neurotransmitters that regulate mood.
Each of these products provides 1 Billion CFUs (Colony Forming Units) per serving of a particular type of premium probiotic strain called Bacillus coagulans (GBI-30 6086) which was selected because it has excellent safety, efficacy and survivability – not only in terms of its stability (it is shelf-stable [it does not need to be refrigerated to survive] and it can also be added to either cold or hot drinks and recipes), but also in terms of being able to survive through the acidity of the stomach to make it to our intestines to help create a more favourable population of microflora there.
These two types feature Maca, a superfood which functions as an adaptogen, which can help boost energy levels in a sustained fashion, and help balance mood, and even help increase libido. They each include two types of maca – black, and red/purple – which have somewhat different characteristics, in a 2 to 1 ratio best befitting each sex.

Suggested Usage:
The suggested serving implicit in the Nutrition Facts table is a half teaspoon (3 g). If you are on antibiotics, take these 2 to 3 hours either before or after those.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place. For optimal freshness, product may be refrigerated after opening.
Warnings:
Do not use these probiotic products if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, or if you are undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain. If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhoea) occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days, discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner.
