This attractive 1.5 litre (50.7 US oz) capacity transparent carafe with a matching stainless steel lid with a sealing silicone gasket was specially selected for the Arctic Cold Brew System after extensive testing.
As such, it can certainly serve as a replacement for that if you've accidentally broken yours, or as a companion to it, for high volume coffee drinking households wanting to have two in use (to be able to start brewing the next batch before the one you have been serving from is done, or if it's still in the dishwasher), lest there be 12 or more hours where none is available. But it can also be used to brew tea, or to store and dispense any of a number of either hot or cold liquids.
Dimensions:
The carafe itself is 5.82 inches (128 mm) in diameter at the base, and 7.8 inches (198 mm) tall without its matching lid on, or 8.19 inches (208 mm) with that in place, and has a 2.875 inch (73 mm) outer diameter at the top, and a 2.57 inch (65 mm) inner diameter at its opening.
The stainless steel covered lid comes with a silicone gasket, which spreads out when it's out of the container (it's shown artificially hovering over the carafe in the photo) but tucks in along the sides of the rim to form a seal, as shown in this closeup of just the top.
