Relora-Plex is a unique blend of several types of B vitamins with two traditional herbal medicine extracts (backed by research) designed to help us feel less stress and temporarily relieve the symptoms of perceived stress without causing drowsiness throughout the day.

Product Notes:

When we experience stress, we secrete more cortisol, which triggers producing lots of glucose to serve almost exclusively as energy for our brains' hyperactive 'fight or flight' response, at the expense of other tissues which would use it for normal functions like digestion, the immune system, and producing other hormones (like the ones which help us relax).

The combination of Magnolia officinalis and Phellodendron amurense has been shown to have positive results in randomized clinical trials in such factors as reducing anxiety in temporary, transitory anxiety in premenopausal women, in one study; or in improving the vigor and reducing the sleep disturbances, fatigue, restlessness, tension and feelings attributed to stress compared to the control group in another study, and in improving mood and reducing anger, depression, and confusion, as well. And in a 2013 study of 56 moderately stressed men and women between the ages  17 and 39, they found reductions in Overall Stress (an 11% decrease, with the measure they used), Tension (-13%), Depression (-20%), Anger (-42%), Fatigue (-31%), and Confusion (-27%), and improved Global Mood State (+11%) and Vigor (+18%).
