Like the original Xlear formula designed for daily or regular use, XLEAR MAX isn't just a saline solution to hydrate and flush the nasal passages of irritants or pollutants – it also features Xylitol, which not only helps eradicate harmful bacteria in the nasal and throat membranes, but also makes the solution hypertonic, which helps it reduce sinus tissue swelling.
Capsicum (an extract from hot peppers) has traditionally been used as a natural antihistamine, and can also help clear up sinus and nasal congestion and may even relieve headaches due to sinus pressure (and possibly some other types of headaches, as well). Of course, it may sting a bit – that's how it works – which is why the soothing aloe vera has been added, which can also help moisturize and heal the surrounding tissues, as well.
Ingredients:
Purified water, Xylitol, Saline, Capsicum annuum 8X, Aloe Vera, Sodium Chloride, Grapefruit Seed Extract and Capsicum Oleoresin. Each pump sprays 0.18 ml of solution, so there are about 246 pump sprays per bottle.
Suggested Usage:
Shake bottle before each use.
Remove the clear safety cap from the bottle.
Prior to initial use, prime the pump by holding it upright and pumping one or more times until the solution is dispensed.
Clear the nasal passages by gently blowing your nose prior to using Xlear Max Nasal Spray.
Insert the nozzle into nostril and depress pump completely while breathing in through your nose. Spray 1 to 3 times in each nostril twice daily. (The metered nasal pump provides a precise amount of spray in a fine mist.)
Clean nozzle after each use and replace the safety cap.
Warnings:
Avoid contact with eyes. If considering use for children under the age of 6, consult a physician first. If symptoms persist for more than two weeks, discontinue use and see a physician.
A burning sensation is normal and natural result as the capsicum takes effect. XLEAR MAX can be used whenever needed (use as symptoms persist), but is not intended for daily use. Do not share with other users - that can transfer infections.
