Aloe vera can provide many health benefits, including supporting healthy digestion; increasing your ability to absorb nutrients; reducing harmful toxins and inflammations; and enhancing the immune system by functioning as an antioxidant. Lily of the Desert has been a leading producer of Aloe Vera products for decades. All their juices and gels contain aloe vera organically grown in the fertile Rio Grande Valley of Texas, providing the maximum level of naturally occurring aloe polysaccharides, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and amino acids, to assure that their customers receive the freshest and purest aloe while also retaining its maximum efficacy.

- Certified Organic Preservative Free Aloe Vera Juice - Inner Fillet (3.8 L).
- Certified Organic Whole Leaf Filtered Aloe Vera Juice Concentrate (5X strength)
- Certified Organic Aloe Vera Gel (containing 99% Aloe Vera Juice), in two types:

Ingredients, Concentrations, and Characteristics:
The Whole Leaf products contain the entire leaf, with both high and low molecular weight polysaccharides, and have their aloin content filtered down to a safe level of less than 1 part per million.
The Inner Fillet products are made only from the inner gel-like portion of the leaf, and contain a concentration of high molecular weight polysaccharides.
Each 59 ml dose of the Regular Juices or Gels contains: 60 mg of Organic Aloe barbadensis gel (leaf gel) standardized extract (aloe vera) (1% high molecular weight polysaccharides (at least 1,000,000 daltons)).
The Concentrate provides the same amount of that Organic Polysaccharide Rich Aoesorb in just a 30 ml dose.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Citric Acid (as a pH stabilizer), in all these products); and Potassium Sorbate (as a mold inhibitor, in the non-preservative-free varieties).
Since 1971, the original line of regular Lily of the Desert aloe vera juices and gels have used food grade Potassium Sorbate as a preservative (making up 0.1% of the volume) to retain their biologically active components and extend their useful life. They are shelf-stable for a long time (two and a half years), and once opened, will last up to 5 to 6 months when placed in the refrigerator.
But in 2005, they were the first aloe company to develop new technology to enable making USDA certified organic preservative free juice that still has all 200 of those biologically-active components. (It entails flash pasteurization: applying heat for a limited amount of time.) These preservative-free juices will last a minimum of 45 to 60 days after being opened and refrigerated.
Each 59 ml dose of the inner leaf Gel contains: 60 mg of Organic Aloe barbadensis gel (inner leaf gel) standardized extract (aloe vera) (1% high molecular weight polysaccharides (at least 1,000,000 daltons).
Non-medicinal ingredients in the Gel: carrageenan (a thickening agent), citric acid (as a pH stabilizer), potassium sorbate (as a mold inhibitor), sodium benzoate.
This gel is also for drinking like a juice, but it has a thicker consistency than the juices; some find it more soothing for their stomach and/or muscle or joint discomfort.
Each type contains over 99% aloe vera: 99.5% in the regular gels; 99.7% in the regular and preservative free juices; and 99.8% in the concentrate.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 dose (59 ml) one to three times daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. As a dietary supplement, drink 2 to 8 ounces of the regular strength juices or gels a day, as a refreshing, soothing, nutritious juice drink. It is equally satisfying on its own, over ice, or mixed with your favorite juice or other cool drink.
For the concentrate, take just 1 ounce (2 Tbsp) per day. It can be taken any time of day, either with or without food, either alone or mixed with a favorite juice. For those with more severe digestive issues, they recommend taking it 15 to 30 minutes before each meal.
Refrigerate immediately after opening, and consume it all within 45 to 60 days, for the preservative-free juices and concentrate, or within 5-6 months after opening, for the regular juices or gel.
