Ingredients:
Each capsule contains:
500 mg Green tea (Camellia sinensis) leaf extract (450 mg catechins including 375 mg epigallocatechine-3‑gallate [EGCG])
100 mg Turmeric (Curcuma longa) root extract, 95% curcuminoids, providing curcumin I, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin
60 mg N‑Acetyl-ʟ‑cysteine (NAC)
50 mg Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) root, 50% resveratrol
30 mg Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) flesh extract, 10% lycopene
25 mg Cayenne (Capsicum annuum) fruit
20 mg Astaxanthin 1.5%, from 20 mg Haematococcus pluvialis
20 mg Zeaxanthin (from marigold [Tagetes erecta] extract)
2 mg Black pepper (Piper nigrum) fruit extract, 95% piperine
Non-medicinal ingredients: Vegetable magnesium stearate in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
The curcumin contained in this product has been Carbon-14 tested to be 100% natural and contains no adulterants.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily or as directed by your healthcare professional. Take with a meal containing oil/fat.
Consult a healthcare professional for use beyond six weeks.
Store bottle in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
Warnings:
Do not use while on chemotherapy (because curcumin may interfere with chemo drugs). Stop taking 2 days before chemotherapy. Take Prevent only 30 days after your last chemotherapy has ended.
Do not use New Roots Prevent if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin, or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/ Compositae/ Daisy family.
If you are taking prescription medications or natural health products, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use, as resveratrol and black pepper/piperine may alter their effectiveness.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you have an iron deficiency; or if you are taking antiplatelet medication or blood thinners; or if you have kidney stones, gallstones or a bile duct obstruction; or if you have stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid or stomach inflammation; or if you have a liver disorder.
Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness, and/or loss of appetite. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract–containing products have been reported.
