L-Citrulline is a naturally occurring amino acid which has several important roles particularly relevant to those engaged in weight training and other high intensity athletics.

Product Notes:

L-Citrulline helps support the formation of creatine, an important factor in muscle energy and body composition. It also facilitates protein synthesis, which helps retain muscle tissue and maintain a healthy protein balance. As a precursor of Arginine, L-Citrulline can also help cardiovascular function, aiding in production of Nitric Oxide (NO), which plays a fundamental role in vascular function and blood flow.

L-Citrulline works with both Arginine and Ornithine to form urea in the liver, which is essential for removing the toxic protein metabolites which get produced when you burn energy while exercising; this can help buffer lactic acid levels and reduce muscle fatigue.

It is available in fixed dose capsules, or in powder form, which enables more flexible dosing and can be added to health or protein shakes.
