Product Notes:

Neem oil can also be mixed with a carrier oil or other skin care or beauty products, to apply as a lotion, or as part of a shampoo (to help the scalp).

Ingredients:

100% Neem Seed Oil. Pure, cold-pressed and ethically wild-crafted. Certified organic.

Suggested Usage:

Apply several drops two to three times daily, or as needed. You may also add 20-40 drops to a carrier oil or product. For topical use only. If irritation persists, consult with your health care practitioner.

Neem oil becomes solid when it is cool, similar to honey or palm oil. If it's partially congealed, you can try warming the bottle in your hands, or just fill a mug half full warm to hot (but not boiling) water and place the bottle in it for a minute or two.

Neem oil can also be safely used for several types of indoor or outdoor gardening applications by mixing it with water (and possibly soap) and delivering it in a spray bottle: as an insecticide; a repellent (for aphids, for example); or a fungicide (to prevent mold or mildew). Because it is both biodegradable and non-toxic, it's quite safe for any birds, pets, livestock, or other wildlife in the area when it is sprayed on plants, and it won't harm earthworms. It's best to do this in the evening or with the window shades drawn, however, because it can make the foliage more sensitive to sunlight and heat.

*(Some recommend that mixing about 1.5 teaspoons of pure Neem oil into 1 liter of lukewarm water along with 1 teaspoon of a mild liquid soap like Dr. Bronner's to act as an emulsifier to help the oil and water mix better.)
