Suggested Usage:
Take one capsule twice daily with food, a few hours before or after taking other medication(s), or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Use for a minimum of 4 weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 6 months.
Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children. Consult a health care practitioner prior to using Douglas Labs Estro-Mend if you are talking blood thinners/anti-coagulants, birth control pills, or hormone replacement therapy (HRT), if you have a liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble, if you have depression and/or related diseases or if you have a family history of cancer. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consumption with alcohol, other medications and/or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
If menstruation is delayed or absent, or if you experience increased menstrual bleeding time, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Ensure that you are up-to-date on appointed clinical test such as mammographs and endometrial ultrasounds or biopsies before using this product. If you experience breast pain, discomfort, soreness and/or tenderness, abnormal uterine bleeding including spotting and/or recurrence of menstruation in postmenopausal women, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
Contra-Indications: Do not use EstroMend if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have diarrhea, haemorrhagic diseases, hypermenorrhoea/profuse menstrual flow/heavy periods, if you have a seizure disorder (e.g. epilepsy). If you have allergy/hypersensitivity to members of the Apiaceae/Umbelliferaw family (anise, caraway, carrot, celery, dill, parsley), do not use this product.
If you currently have or previously had breast cancer or if you have a predisposition to breast cancer, as indicated by an abnormal mammogram and/or biopsy, or if you have a family member with breast cancer, do not use this product.
Known Adverse Reactions: May cause digestive problems. If you experience breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV) or UV therapy.
