Fiber (that part of our diet which resists being broken down by digestive enzymes to get absorbed) has several important roles in our bodies, and an adequate intake is needed to prevent things like swings in our blood sugar levels, cardiovascular problems, diverticular disorders, and of course constipation. Some 38 grams a day are recommended for men, and 25 for women, but many of us average less than half that amount. Our digestive systems can also be hampered by an imbalance in the types and numbers of the multitude of microorganisms which occupy the gastrointestinal tract, which have roles in both the digestive and immune systems, leading to symptoms like bloating or feeling sluggish. This all natural product addresses both problems simultaneously, providing a great source of dietary fiber bolstered by a nice dose of clinically proven probiotics to help keep your digestive and immune health on an even keel.
Not all fiber supplements are alike or "user friendly". Many aren't very concentrated, so you have to take a lot of it (and you're adding calories from their non-fibrous parts). Some have a terrible or at least a very pronounced taste, or are very hard to dissolve, so you find you have to take them by themselves. Others are really gritty. And some thicken up so much you have to drink them almost instantly, and sometimes you have to take them by themselves and wait hours before taking any of your medications (or they'll just absorb them and prevent them from working).

Suggested Usage:
Slowly add the suggested amounts below to at least 4 ounces (125ml) of any non-carbonated drink or soft food (hot or cold). Let stand 30 seconds, then stir until dissolved.
Adults: 1 teaspoon, up to 2 times daily.
Children, 7 years old and up: 1/2 teaspoon, up to 2 times daily. For children under the age of 7, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use.
Warnings:
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain; or if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Discontinue use if hypersensitivity occurs. Gas and flatulence may increase initially, but will subside with continued use. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days.
