This formulation provides the core nutrients needed to help support maternal and fetal health in the doses consistent with the accepted scientific recommendations for pregnant and lactating women, including a milligram of folic acid for healthy neural and cellular development of the fetal brain and spinal cord and to help prevent neural tube defects, plus iron to help prevent anemia and associated fatigue, and Beta-carotene (provitamin A) to help maintain skin and immune function.
PreNatal Nutrients has been newly reformulated, to be enhanced with vitamin K plus 50% more vitamin D, for bone health (now in a vegan form derived from algae), and a superior form of folate (from folic acid and Metafolin® 5-MTHF [L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate], the naturally occurring, universally metabolized form of folate) to help reduce the risk of neural tube defects when taken daily at least three months prior to becoming pregnant and during early pregnancy.
This product is GMO-Free, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, and suitable for Vegetarians.

Suggested Usage:
Pregnant women: Take 2 capsules daily, with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications (if applicable), or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Store sealed in a cool, dry area.
