If your pet is new to the BiologicVET line, for younger dogs, they recommend introducing BioFATS to its diet first, then BioSKIN&COAT within two to three days of that, with BioVITES introduced last, particularly if there are skin conditions present, since it contains a healthy dose of B-Vitamins which may cause itching in some animals with a pre-existing sensitivity.
As with other types of supplements, some formulations are not recommended in the presence of certain health conditions, however; please see the Warnings below for details.
* BioFats is a comprehensive essential fatty acid source for cats and dogs with an added potent antioxidant base. It provides a healthy supply of active omega-3 and essential omega-6 fats which cannot be supplied at requisite levels in dry, processed foods. Nor can your pets' own bodies manufacture these essential fats themselves; they must be supplied abundantly by the diet, to provide the body with substrates for hormones and cell membrane structure. Use daily as part of a disease prevention or health support program.
* The Advanced Hip, Joint, Cartilage and Connective Tissue Support from BioJoint helps regenerate joint tissue, combat premature joint degeneration, and provide anti-inflammatory / pain relief in a lignan-rich base with anti-inflammatory and regenerative cartilage, and synovium building blocks with cell activators and essential vitamin and mineral support. Use it daily as part of a joint regenerative and anti-inflammatory program or as a preventive program for older (5-plus years) and active animals.
* BioSkin & Coat is a natural bioflavonoid-based formulation developed to promote skin and coat health in dogs or cats predisposed to seasonal allergies, or who show signs of hotspots &/or yeast overgrowth. Its natural antihistamines target the histamine receptors where the central allergy response takes place, and it also contains anti-inflammatory herbal extracts and other synergistic nutrients, including antioxidants. GMO-free, and also does not contain any artificial flavours, colours or binders.
* BioVites is a holistic, nutritional supplement providing a full spectrum of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, prebiotics, lignans, protein, amino acids, and antioxidants for any dog or cat.
