Product Notes:
Bio-D-Mulsion is produced in a choice between a 2,000 IU (International Units) per drop formulation, or 400 IU's per drop (a lower dose which is recommended for children).
Bio-D-Mulsion may help strengthen softened bones and help prevent vitamin D deficiency (which can particularly afflict those who avoid sunshine or who are house-bound), or help with osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, parathyroid dysfunction, diastolic hypotension, calcium and magnesium synergist, free radical issues, bone healing, neuromuscular disease, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
It comes here in an emulsified, "sticky drops" format, which can get well-absorbed, especially when dropped directly underneath the tongue, where the blood-vessels are close to the surface.

Ingredients:
Each drop contains either 400 IU (10 mcg) [Health Canada Natural Product Number: 80020888] or 2,000 IU (50 mcg) [Health Canada Natural Product Number: 80117492] of Vitamin D (as cholecalciferol) per drop (depending on the type selected).
Other ingredients: Purified water, acacia gum, and sesame seed oil. Gluten and dairy free.
Suggested Usage:
Children and Adults under the age of 70: Take one drop (0.4ml) each day as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a health care professional.
Adults over the age of 70, if taking the 400 IU type: Take 2 drops per day.
Cautions and Warnings:
Do not use Biotics Research Bio-D-Mulsion Forte liquid Vitamin D supplement if you have hypercalcemia (too much calcium in your blood) and/or hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine).
15 to 20 mcg (600-800 IU) of vitamin D per day is an adequate quantity for most individuals. Consult a healthcare practitioner to determine if you would benefit from additional vitamin D before taking this product, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a kidney disorder, or if you take any prescription medications (including antacids, anticonvulsants, digoxin, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, steroids, statins or thiazide diuretics) or other vitamin D supplements, multivitamin supplements containing vitamin D, or products containing vitamin D analogues.
Known Adverse Reactions: Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if the following early symptoms of hypercalcemia occur: weakness, fatigue, drowsiness, headache, lack of appetite, dry mouth, metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, vertigo, ringing in the ears, lack of coordination and muscle weakness, or if you develop any other symptom.
