For those that live in northern areas, we often don't get enough direct sunlight to produce as much as we need on our own, and some people don't want to tolerate fortified dairy products, either. And while supplements are available in tablet and capsule form, the tabs may be too chalky for some people's tastes, and others may have difficulty swallowing softgels (or want to avoid gelatin capsules). This liquid formula in a MCT oil base is ideal for kids and anyone who doesn't prefer tabs or caps.
Ingredients:
Each drop provides 100 IU (2 mcg) of Vitamin D, and a full dropper full would provide approximately 50 drops, or 5,000 IU.
Each drop (0.028 ml) contains:
Vitamin D3 (as Cholecalciferol): (100 IU) 2.5 mcg
Non-medicinal ingredients: MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) Oil.
Contains no: sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk/dairy, egg, shellfish or preservatives. Kosher.
Suggested Usage:
Adult Dosage: Take 4 to 10 drops daily. Take directly or add to a beverage. Best taken with a fat-containing meal.
Children: Take 4 drops once daily.
Shake well before using, and store in a cool, dry place.
