Philips Wake-Up Light alarm clock helps you to get a proper night's rest and wake up gradually and comfortably. It gently prepares you for waking up in the last 20-40 minutes of sleep, depending on the time you set. Those who use this lamp generally find it much easier to wake up, have a better overall mood in the morning and even feel more energetic throughout the day. This lamp features an easy snooze setting (simply tap the lap). The lamps senses the level of light in your room and conveniently auto-dims the display when your bedroom gets dark.
At your chosen wake-up time, you will begin to hear a natural sound or the FM radio station you have selected to complete the wake-up experience and ensure you are awake. The sounds will start quietly and gradually increase to reach the volume level you selected. In addition to the radio, there are five natural sounds to choose from including bird song, birds in the forest, zen garden, gentle piano and seaside sounds. The gradually increasing sound will make the wake up process even more pleasant, ensuring you're never rudely awakened.

Getting up in the morning is never easy. That's why I'd like to show you how you can wake up naturally with the Philips Wake-Up Light.
Personally, I find it especially hard to wake up when it's still dark. I like it best to wake up by sunlight. Now unfortunately, the weather or the season isn't always helpful. That's why I've got the Philips Wake-Up Light. It's inspired by nature's sunrise. By using a unique combination of light and sound, you can now really wake up in a more natural way.
How does it work? The light gradually increases within 30 minutes, from soft morning red through orange, until your room is filled with bright yellow light. It perfectly mimics a real sunrise. Now this stimulates your body to wake naturally, instead of getting that wake-up scare every morning. It's not just the light that helps you wake up.
At the set time, sound will play to ensure you are awake. As with the light, the sound also increases gradually within one and a half minutes, so no more annoying buzzers. Choose a bird song or one of the other four natural sounds, how relaxing. If you're into your music, you can also use the FM radio to wake up with your favourite radio show.
If you like to snooze, that's not a problem. In fact, it's really easy. You just tap anywhere on the Wake-Up Light and snooze mode is set. After nine minutes, the sound will gently start to play again, time to get up.
You can also use the Wake-Up Light as a reading lamp. As for getting to sleep, you get some help with that as well. The light and sound gradually dims thanks to the sunset simulation.
Now when you wake up in the middle of the night, you don't want to be blinded by a bright display. That's why the display on the Wake-Up Light adjusts itself depending on the light in the room, so when your bedroom is filled with light, the brightness increases. When your bedroom is dark, the brightness dims. Pretty smart. So you see, Philips Wake-Up Light makes getting out of bed a lot easier.
