The SCUBA toothbrush's bristles are made to last three times longer than most brands, so you can use them for up to 9 months before replacing (which also cuts down on landfill waste). And they're huge: about as long as most (6.5"), but the heads are about twice the size of most brands for superior, easy cleaning.
These wide heads and hundreds of long, soft bristles cover more surfaces and can massage the gums and entire mouth. The flexible recycled rubber handles are big, too – over an inch wide, at the bottom – and are made of non-slip rubber, for a sure grip, and they have a platform in the middle to provide both a thumb and forefinger grip, to give you a lot of control. Finally, SCUBA toothbrush necks are flexible, to guard against applying too much pressure to the gums, and their heads are angled at 45 degrees, since dentists recommend that you brush with the bristles at a 45-degree angle to the gum line.
These toothbrushes are BPA-free and are made with FDA approved colours and materials that have been accepted by American Dental Association, in a solar-powered facility in Pennsylvania.
Suggested Usage:
Place a pea-sized portion of toothpaste on the bristles and brush teeth in a circular motion, away from gums. Brush gums as well. To sanitize, swirl the head in a 50/50 hydrogen peroxide/water mix. (Do not clean in boiling water/dishwasher). Replace brush after 6 to 9 months.
