Probiotics repopulate the gastrointestinal tract with healthy bacteria, to improve digestion. The strains provided in Genestra's HMF line are Human Micro Flora: i.e., they are derived from people rather than from other animals, in order to be better able more likely to survive through the stomach acids, work faster, and adhere better to our GI tracts than those which come from cow dairy sources, e.g. (In fact, this formulation is free of dairy and gluten - two substances which can contribute to IBS.)
To make it more convenient to take, Genestra Brands now offers HMF I.B.S. Relief in this shelf-stable version, which does not require refrigeration.

Probiotic Consortium: 25 billion Colony Forming Units, consisting of:
- 19 B CFU Lactobacillus acidophilus (CUL-60) & CUL-21)
- 6 B CFU Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (CUL-34) & Bifidobacterium bifidum (CUL-20)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Cellulose, hypromellose. Ingredients used to maintain viability of probiotics: dipotassium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, trehalose, sucrose.
Guaranteed to contain no added wheat, starch, gluten, soy, artificial colouring or flavouring, antimicrobial preservatives, dairy or animal products. Ideal for vegans.
Suggested Usage:
Adults and Children (11 years and older): Take one capsule daily with a meal, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. If on antibiotics, this product should be taken at least two to three hours before or after an antibiotic dose.
Warnings:
Do not use Genestra Brand HMF IBS Relief probiotics if you have an immune-compromised condition. If you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain, consult healthcare practitioner prior to use.
