Cranberry is widely used to prevent urinary tract infection (UTI). It works by preventing bacteria from adhering to the bladder's cell wall, via its active ingredient proanthocyanidin. This Clinical Strength Cranberry Extract from NOW Foods is standardized to contain 10 mg of proanthocyanidins, and 20 mg of Quinic acid (one of the cranberry's three main acidic ingredients, which is able to kill bacteria in the urinary tract).
Uva Ursi has also been including in this formula, because it acts as a diuretic to promote urine flow (which can help flush the urinary tract), and Grape Seed Extract (GSE, which has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties of its own) enhances proanthocyanidin's ability to help prevent UTIs.

Each capsule contains:
333.33 mg of Cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon) (Fruit) (50:1 DHE: 16.66 g Dry); standardized to contain 1.5% proanthocyanidins) (10 mg of Proanthocyanidins and 20 mg of Quinic Acid)
100 mg of Uva-Ursi (Arctostaphylos uva- ursi) (Leaf) (3-4 : 1 DHE: 300-400 mg Fresh); (standardized to contain 15% / 20 mg Arbutin)
15 mg Grape Seed (Vitis vinifera) (Seed) (30:1 DHE: 450 mg) (standardized to contain: 13.5 mg Total Polyphenols).
Non-medicinal ingredients: Veg. Capsule (hypromellose, water), Silica, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable grade), Cellulose.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 3 capsules daily with food. Use for a minimum of 4 weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 7 days. Store in a cool, dry place.
Warnings:
