Although the Gymnema sylvestre plant has long been used as a natural remedy for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to relieve coughs and occasional constipation, supplemental forms are now gaining more popularity in modern society due to their positive effects on blood sugar levels. Known as the "destroyer of sugar", research indicates it contains compounds that decrease the absorption of sugar in the intestine, as well as increase the amount of insulin (the natural hormone that supports the uptake of glucose into cells) produced in the pancreas.
Ingredients:
Per 1 ml:
250 mg wildcrafted Gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre, leaf) Quantity Crude Equivalent (1:4)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Distilled water, Grain alcohol.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 2-3 ml (60-90 drops) 4 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach.
Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or health products.
Allow at least 6 to 12 hours for laxative effect to occur.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use St. Francis Herb Farm Gymnema tincture if you have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhoea.
