Aromatherapy: What is an Ionizer?
An ionizer is a device that produces ionization, especially one used to improve the quality of the air in a room. The Heavenly Scent air ionizer is a relatively new device that was invented to purify the air. Instead of using fans and filters, the Heavenly Scent ionizer creates ions which remove microscopic particles from the air. The Heavenly Scent diffuser helps make a room healthier, especially for those suffering from asthma, allergies, impaired immune system or respiratory ailments, by reducing the amount of allergens entering your lungs.
Air ionizers rely on the chemical properties of particles. An ion is a particle that is charged either positively or negatively. The Heavenly Scent unit creates negative ions using electricity and a special computer chip. Negative ions flood the room and seek out their opposite and positively charged particles, such as dust, animal dander, bacteria, pollen, mold, smoke, chemical vapours, and other allergens. Once the particles adhere together, they are too heavy to stay airborne and thus cannot be inhaled. As a result, harmful airborne particles fall to the ground where they can be cleaned by normal means, such as dusting or vacuuming.
Natural phenomena like waterfalls, waves and lightening all generate negative ions. This is the 'fresh' smell you encounter during an electrical storm, by the ocean or near white rapids. Insulation in our homes and in buildings interferes with atmospheric air circulation, so an air ionizer is ideal to help compensate for this disequilibrium.
Indoor air pollution is just as hazardous as the more commonly talked about outdoor pollution such as car exhaust and factory emissions. Indoor dust and mold particles collect inside your heating and air conditioning ducts. Higher humidity inside allows bacteria to thrive. The Heavenly Scent ionizer addresses these home and office sources of pollution and odor. Additionally, the ozone that is created when negative ions are generated battles pollution by breaking it down into smaller, harmless components. Ozone makes it more difficult for germs to grow, and the combined aromatherapy feature of the heavenly scent diffuser deodorizes while emitting the health benefits of essential oils.
Also, the Heavenly Scent ionizer uses very little power and is fairly quiet, unlike traditional fan-driven air purifiers. The Heavenly Scent creates a faint breeze that helps to distribute the ions throughout a room.
Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser, Humidifier & Negative Ionizer– All In One!
Our Heavenly Scent Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser is a state-of-the-art system that ionizes essential oil molecules into the air while enhancing the oil’s biological effects – ideal for improving the atmosphere of any home or workspace.
Heat-free diffusion constitutes the most effective method for essential oil distribution as the dispersed oils remain suspended in the atmosphere longer, absorbing better in the respiratory system.
Water with a few drops of a therapeutic essential oil is simply and quickly distributed via the diffuser’s ultrasonic vibration (2.5 million vibrations per second), which completely breaks down even thick essential oils into tiny micro-particles. This allows your body to use the healing ionized water particles as you breathe in their wonderful aroma.
The Heavenly Scent Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser has a built-in interval timer allowing for continuous dispersal or intermittent cycles (economical and beneficial for all-day dispersing of oils). An automatic shut-off feature is activated when water reaches the minimum level.
Ionizers may help protect against germs in the air, resulting in decreased irritation due to inhaling various particles that make you sneeze, cough, or irritate your throat. Other benefits:
• Purifies the environment and reduces airborne pollutants (bacteria, viruses and other microbes, dust, pollen, animal dander, mold spores)
• Reduces respiratory problems (colds, flu, hay fever, asthma and allergies)
• Creates a pleasant aromatherapy atmosphere and neutralizes most odors
including smoke and flatus.
Better air improves your health, energy and mood. A roomful of ultrasonic dispersed aromatherapy can make you feel magically refreshed! Help your family feel better.
Features and Benefits of the Heavenly Scent Diffuser
COLD AIR DIFFUSION METHOD
No heat is used in the ultrasonic diffuser diffusion process. Heat can cause the rapid evaporation of the more volatile components of an essential oil resulting in a loss of the fullness of the natural aroma and its healing benefits. Heat can alter or destroy certain constituents of an oil and thus the therapeutic benefit may not be as optimal as using cold air diffusion method.
INSTANT VAPOR TECHNOLOGY
Incorporating the Instant Vapor Technology, you instantly enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy. This is the most powerful and therapeutically effective means of dispersing essential oils into an extremely fine mist of micro-particles and billions of molecules without heat for maximum benefits.
PATENTED 'DIFFUSION METHOD TECHNOLOGY'
Most Nebulizer manufacturers do not recommend the use of thick essential oils such as Patchouli, Sandalwood, or Ylang Ylang due to the fact that they can clog
the nebulizing diffuser’s injector and ruin the motor. Our Ultrasonic Diffuser advanced diffusion technology breaks down thick essential oils into tiny micro particles, leaving no oil residual mess to clean up.
BUILT-IN INTERVAL TIMER
This diffuser offers a state-of-the-art innovation that incorporates a two-way switch, allowing you to continuously fragrance your environment or switch to intermittent cycles to maintain aromatic pleasures while saving precious oils. Over time our nervous system adapts to continuous scents causing awareness of the aromas to be lost. The cyclic administration of this diffuser heightens the experience of the fragrance and strengthens its biological effect. Essential oils diffused this way will produce the best results if the diffusion has a built-in interval timer.
PURIFY YOUR ENVIRONMENT
As well as administering the uplifting, rejuvenating, or relaxing effects of selected oils or blends to an environment, aromatherapy can contribute to an atmosphere that can increase productivity and positive attitudes. For example, during classes or at work use a mentally stimulating oil such as Rosemary or Bergamot - these oils help keep people more alert and mentally sharper.
EFFECTIVE AGAINST AIRBORNE BACTERIA AND MOLD
When essential oils are diffused in an area, they have the ability to increase the atmospheric oxygen as they release oxygenating molecules into the atmosphere. Oils increase ozone and negative ions, which inhibit bacteria growth.
HELPS PREVENT ILLNESS
In the home or work environment, the therapeutic effects of diffused oils on the respiratory systems are especially helpful during the cold and flu season. Try Eucalyptus, Pine or Peppermint oil. Disperse over a period of several hours to keep the environment clean of nasty airborne viruses.
When outside air is polluted, a diffuser can help create a safer, more peaceful, and uplifting atmosphere indoors. It can also help prevent and destroy existing odors as well, including from mold, cigarettes, animal dander, etc.
NO EXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT PARTS
No need to invest extra money in expensive glass nebulizer replacement parts that typically cost between $35-$50. This is the one part that people most frequently inadvertently break when using those types of diffusers.
EASY TO CLEAN
The cleaning of other diffusers can be difficult and time consuming. Glass nebulizer systems must be cleaned after each use, are quite fragile, and must be handled with extra care. Oils that are put directly into the base unit or that have been heat diffused become thick and difficult to clean from the unit. The Heavenly Scent Diffuser is easy to clean. Simply wipe out the inside base (and for units that use them - replace the refill cup regularly). No mess or fuss.
