The Colour Energy Corporation (CEC) was founded in Australia nearly 20 years ago by Inger Naess, a former teacher who initially developed a line of coloured bath powders and educational materials oriented to the seven different colour energies believed to be oriented to different personality types. The company has since expanded to other countries as well as product lines, including aromatherapy and skin care. In 2005, the Canadian division merged with Ashbury's, a long-standing supplier of pure essential oils, healing salts, and kindred products.
