Product Notes:

Butterbur's active constituents (petasines) have been shown to play a role in minimizing the frequency and severity of neurological discomfort such as migraines triggered by bright lights and stress that occasionally occurs in healthy individuals when taken on a prophylactic / preventative basis. It may also help maintain balanced seasonal immune responses. NOW Butterbur is free of harmful levels of Pyrrolizidine Alkaloids (PAs), so it's safe to use regularly.

Ingredients:

Each capsule contains:

75 mg Butterbur (Petasites hybridus Root) (Standardized to a min. 12% Sesquiterpenes as Petasines)
200 mg Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium Herb)

Non-medicinal ingredients: Veg. capsule (hypromellose, water), Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source), Silica, and Stearic Acid (vegetable source).

Suggested Usage:

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily for up to 16 weeks. Use for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks to see beneficial effects. Store in a cool, dry place.

Warnings:

Do not use NOW Foods Butterbur with Feverfew if you are pregnant or are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/ Compositae/ Daisy family. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners, or are breastfeeding (or after, if symptoms persist or worsen). Hypersensitivity/allergy, mouth sores or mouth ulcers have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use. If yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, itching of the skin or abdominal pain occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner.
