Product Notes:

ThroatGuard PRO lozenges - Powered with BLIS K12

ThroatGuard Pro works by colonizing the oral cavity with the best-known strain of BLIS Probiotics: BLIS K12 – a beneficial bacteria that can "crowd out" other bacteria which may have been proliferating and causing a range of issues, including a white-coloured build-up on the tongue; painful gums; ear aches or infections (otitis media); throat infections (streptococcal pharyngeal); or even tonsillitis). It may also help prevent recurrences of throat infections if taken after a course of antibiotics.

Naming Note: A similar product formulation is sold as BLIS Probiotics ThroatHealth in some international markets. The BLIS K12 strain is also featured in other BLIS Probiotics formulas including Ears & Throat and Fresh Breath.

Ingredients:

Medicinal Ingredient (Each lozenge contains):

Streptococcus salivarius BLIS K12: 1 billion CFU (Colony Forming Units)

Non-medicinal ingredients: Trehalose, lactitol, maltodextrin, isomalt, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, natural flavour, magnesium stearate.

BLIS Probiotics Throat Guard PRO does not contain wheat, gluten, soy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, fish or shellfish. It may contain trace amounts of milk protein from the fermentation process.

Suggested Usage:

For general oral health: Take 1 to 2 lozenge(s) per day. This applies to Adults, Adolescents, or Children aged 3 year old and up, alike.

For prevention of sore throat due to infection or otitis media:
- for children under 12 years of age, take just 1 lozenge per day for 90 days;
- for adults or children 12 years or older, take 1 or 2 lozenges per day for 90 days.

In order to be effective, these vanilla-flavoured lozenges should be slowly dissolved in the mouth so that the active ingredient can start adhering to the soft tissues in the mouth and throat: do not chew it or swallow it before it's fully dissolved.

Warnings:

Do not use Throat Guard PRO lozenges with BLIS K12 if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment) or a milk/dairy allergy. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain. If symptoms of ear, nose or throat infections (e.g. fever, sore throat) develop, consult a healthcare practitioner.
