1500 mg per Serving - An emulsified liquid omega-3 supplement, Perfect Omega is available in two varieties, which differ not only in their flavour (Mango-Orange, the other version available by special order), but their strength – with this Key Lime formula providing double the amount of Total Omega-3s per recommended dose.
Omega-3 essential fatty acids are critical to initial brain and retinal development, and appear to have several cardiovascular and anti-inflammatory benefits for adults. Fish are a great source of omega-3, but not everyone likes fresh or canned fish or trusts its purity. With some supplements, fish oil capsules tend to be quite large and somewhat difficult to swallow, and are apt to produce burps with a fishy aftertaste if your body has trouble absorbing it all at once.
In Perfect Omega, the oil has been emulsified, which means that rather than remaining clumped together in globules of pure, hard-to-digest oil which would naturally just float on top of the water, the oil's characteristics have been modified somewhat with the help of natural emulsifying agents (acacia gum and vegetable glycerin) so it can be blended right into the water. This forms a creamy texture (flavoured and fortified with vitamin E) with a series of smaller, much easier to absorb droplets distributed throughout.
Note from Nathan Zassman: Emulsified omega-3 liquids are ideal for children. I recommend this product to families with children, as omega-3 is so critical to brain development, and kids absolutely love the taste.

Suggested Usage:
Shake well prior to dispensing. It can be taken by itself off a spoon, or mixed into juice, yogurt or blended beverages.
Key Lime type: Adults, take 1 tablespoon (15 ml) daily; children, take 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) daily.
Best to keep refrigerated (but supplier confirms they can be shipped without refrigeration packs).
Perfect Omega Ingredients:
Both types contain: Purified Water, Fish Oil EPA & DHA Omega-3 (from sardine and anchovy), Xylitol, Glycerine, Vitamin E (6 IU per recommended adult dose), Gum Acacia, Natural Flavours (different ones, for the two types), and Citric Acid.
These products are Sugar Free (they are sweetened with Xylitol), and also contains no: Dairy, Gluten, Soy, Yeast or GMO ingredients.
The fish oil which goes into them is made from small types of fish (anchovies and sardines, which tend to accumulate less mercury than larger fish), caught in sustainable fisheries*, and processed in small batches using molecular distillation to keep it pure, and testing for contaminants such as heavy metals.
* Two organizations – Friends of the Sea; and IFFO, The Marine Ingredients Organization – have certified the supply chain of their fish as being sustainably-sourced.
Relative Strengths and Costs for Each Type
Peach & Mango Flavour (available by special request): Each suggested adult serving of 2 teaspoons (10 ml) provides: 750 mg of Total Omega-3 Polyunsaturated Fat, consisting of 525 mg EPA and 225 mg DHA.
With 45 of these smaller suggested servings in each bottle (for 98 cents a serving), there is thus a total of 33.75 grams of Omega-3s per bottle, which works out to 767 mg of Total Omega-3s per dollar, at the current price (as of April 2022).
Key Lime Flavour: Each 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) suggested adult serving provides: 1500 mg of Total Omega-3 Polyunsaturated Fat, consisting of 1050 mg EPA and 450 mg DHA.
With 30 of these one-third larger suggested servings in each bottle (for $1.60 a serving, at the current price), there is thus a total of 45 grams of Omega-3s per bottle, which works out to 938 mg of Total Omega-3s per dollar (which thereby provides 22% more, per dollar).
Put another way, even though it costs 9% more altogether and 64% more per serving, the Key Lime flavour Perfect Omega actually contains 33% more Total Omega-3's per bottle and provides 100% more Omega-3's per recommended serving.
