Product Notes:

An Essential for Your Medicine Cabinet

Ching Wan Hung Burn Ointment (京万红) has been used for many types of skin burns, in addition to those commonly caused in the kitchen like scalding (direct contact with a hot liquid or steam), flames, or contact with hot surfaces. It's also been used for treating sunburns, chemical burns, electrical burns, and even radiation burns. In China, some hospitals use Ching Wan Hung for treating both minor and serious burns. Users indicate it starts alleviating pain almost immediately after it is applied.

Its abilities to relieve pain, decrease inflammation, fight infection, and help regenerate damaged tissue can also be of great service in some related areas where those same properties are needed – to relieve: bedsores; dermatitis caused by poison oak or poison ivy; heat rash or diaper rash; and hemorrhoids.

A longstanding natural burn remedy, Great Wall Brand chingwanhung ointment is produced by the Tianjin Lerentang Traditional Chinese Medicine factory. Operating in China for about a hundred years, they have been certified as following Good Manufacturing Practices by Germany and Australia since 1990.

Ching Wan Hung Ointment 京萬红軟膏 is sometimes alternatively written as Jing Wan Hong.

Suggested Usage:

For topical use, and only on adults. Apply a generous amount of ointment to the affected area once per day, after it has been thoroughly cleaned. To reduce the possibility of further infection and irritation, you may cover the area with gauze, but be sure to change the gauze daily. Check on the wound every 24 hours, wiping off the ointment and dead skin, and reapply more, if needed, until it is completely healed. For burns, the best results are achieved if you begin treatment as soon as possible after sustaining the injury.

Do not use this product on other sorts of open wounds beside burns, however (such as deep cuts).

Warnings:

For external use only. Do not use Ching Wan Hung natural burn cream if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare practitioner if you have blood deficiency or if symptoms persist.

Be advised, this analgesic ointment is red in colour, and may stain clothing or other fabrics you may make contact with.
