Info: All-Silicone kitchen implements, various colours
This economical line of sturdy, all-silicone kitchen utensils are a great buy and a sensible addition to any kitchen. Silicone has numerous virtues as a material for kitchen implements: it's safe to use with food, of course (it doesn't impart any chemicals); it doesn't rust; it's easy to clean, including in the dishwasher; it's heat resistant up to 260 degrees Celsius (500F); it can be made to be either quite stiff and strong (for the cores of these handles) or quite flexible (for the tips of their blades, for scraping the edges of bowls or pans) or even a bit spongy (for the outer surface of the handles, for both a more comfortable and better grip); and perhaps most importantly, it is safe to use on virtually all glass and cookware surfaces without scratching, including non-stick cookware.
Each implement has a large built-in hanging loop on the end of the handles, so you can keep them handy by your stove or grill.
The Cooking Spoon (which isn't that deep, as a spoon, but has a large head (about 3" long and 2-1/4" wide), and can function to flip items such as pancakes) comes in red, as shown.
The Basting Brushes and mixing or scraping Spatulas both come in either orange or lime green, in both sizes.
The bristles of the brushes are 1.5" (4cm) long, for applying barbecue sauces, or basting roasts or loaves of bread, etc., in the oven. The handles on these ones are 7 inches (18cm) long, which is longer than is typical for basting brushes, which can be quite useful to avoid getting too near the heat or getting singed by hot spatters, while barbecuing.
The two Spatulas have handles that are either 5 or 7 inches long, and heads that are either about 1.5 x 2.5" (4 x 6.5cm) or 2.5 x 3.5" (5x8cm).
