Each vegetarian capsule contains:
DL-Phenylalanine ... 300 mg
L- Tyrosine ... 200 mg
Rhodiola rosea root extract (5:1 DHE: 375 mg) (1.0% Rosavins, 0.8% Salidroside) ... 75 mg
L- Methionine ... 60 mg
Octacosanol ... 2 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: Hypromellose, cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica.
This product does not contain yeast, wheat gluten, soy protein, milk/dairy, corn, sodium, sugar, starch, artificial colouring, preservatives, or flavouring.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take 1 capsule two times daily up to 1 hour before or during periods of physical stress, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take immediately before bedtime. Consult your healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
Warnings:
Do not use Douglas Labs Brain Energy if you have Phenylketonuria (PKU); or if you have bipolar or bipolar spectrum disorder; or if you are taking antipsychotic drugs, levodopa, non-selective monoamine inhibitors, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or any other antidepressants which increase serotonin synaptic concentrations.
Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you are following a low protein diet; or you have Parkinson's disease; or if you are taking antidepressant medication, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), or birth control pills.
If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner. If you experience irritability or insomnia, discontinue use.
