This powdered form of camu camu comes from fresh berries grown in Peru: the whole fruit, which was dried slowly at low temperatures, to get all the nutrients and co-factors, for maximum absorption.
Camu camu also has other antioxidants such as flavonoids, gallic acid, and ellagic acid; and contains potassium (which is needed by the heart and kidneys); and the essential amino acids valine (which is important not only for nervous system and cognitive function but also to prevent muscles from breaking down), leucine (which is needed for keeping up muscle and bone tissue), and serine (which helps us digest proteins and polypeptides).

Suggested Usage:
This powder reconstitutes to a tart berry flavoured juice when dissolved in water; you may want to add coconut sugar to that. You can also add it to other foods, including jams, yogurt or ice cream, smoothies, or other juices.
