Garden of Life's SPORT Certified Grass Fed Whey is mainly whey protein isolate (an easily digested protein extracted from just the liquid component of cow's milk, which contains all 9 essential amino acids, is rich in BCAAs, and has very little lactose content) combined with some whole milk protein (to get some additional beneficial components such as immunoglobulins and growth factors), plus a probiotic selected to support immune health during intensive workouts. It provides 24 grams of complete protein per serving, 6 grams of branched chain amino acids, and 4 grams of glutamine, which all help refuel and repair muscles and reduce recovery time. This protein is obtained from completely grass-fed dairy cows, which were raised in Ireland 'clean': without any antibiotics, growth hormones (such as rBST), or milk production boosters (such as rBGH); and where there really is enough lush, nutritious pastoral grass available to them year round, and so no need to feed them soy, corn or genetically modified grains. Contains 10 mg of naturally occurring caffeine per serving.
Both types contain milk, but are Gluten Free and have no: soy, tree nuts, added sugars, filler ingredients, nor artificial colours, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives.
Suggested Usage:
Mix 1 level scoop (a scoop is included) with eight ounces of water. Best taken within an hour after workout.
