Info: Available in 3 Colour Variants
Gina is an attractive advanced system which can both coach new users and enable sophisticates to fine-tune three different methods of coffee brewing to perfection. It includes a built-in digital scale, to first precisely measure the amount of beans to be ground up, which interfaces with an app on your smart phone to calculate the optimal amounts of water to add to that amount of either medium or coarse coffee grounds to get the ideal ratio of coffee and water for the selected brewing method, and can then either guide you through the rest of the process or track its progress in real time.
If you are - or aspire to be - a true coffee connoisseur, or if you regularly provide either hot or cold brewed coffee to the same, you'll know there are several variables which go into making the perfect cup of coffee (including not only the type of coffee and grind, of course, but also the precise amounts of coffee grounds, water, flow rate, and brewing time), and will appreciate having a lot more control over measuring, setting, and monitoring their progress. Gina and its companion Smart Phone app do all that, and more.
This is the first smart coffee instrument on the market to include a built-in Bluetooth-enabled digital scale to weigh the beans and be paired with an app to calculate the right amount of water to add to that for the desired ratio and to give guidance for precision adjustments to enable brewing coffee three different ways (and share results and recommendations with others): Pour-Over, Immersion (French press), and Cold Drip.
The app (which is available for free both at the Apple App Store for IOS devices such as iPhone or iPad, and in Google Play for Android devices) lets you choose among three different coffee brewing techniques (as well as one for tea), set the perfect ratio between water and coffee with the help of the integrated Bluetooth scale, and then either display the progress of the brewing steps, or guide you through them, based on the most popular settings. You can also use it explore other coffee lovers' "brewprints" for the best ratios, times and grinds for different types of coffee, or to share your own. It also displays the battery level in the base so you can know when it needs recharging.Main Components and their Functions:
