Do you have a Greenstar Original Basic Twin Gear Slow Masticating Juicer from Tribest? You can use these attachment kits to expand its capabilities to either be a pasta press to shape noodles from dough, or to enhance its grinding and blending ability to integrate sesame seeds or nuts to make rice cakes, bagels, or bread sticks.

Product Notes:

These items are both compatible with Greenstar® Original models GS-1000, GS-2000 and GS-3000. Juicer not included.

The Rice Cake or Breadstick Maker Set attachment (which consists of a dual chambered device they call the Closed Blank, and a knob-shaped Guide) is designed to enable the Original Juicer to do some extra processing on certain items to get a smoother consistency. For example, if you are grinding sprouted grain, you can texturize your sprouted wheat with nuts or sunflower seeds, then dehydrate the dough to make crunchy breadsticks. You can also use the chambers for making pâté.

The Pasta Maker Set consists of a Pasta Screen with two types of openings to shape either Spaghetti or Fettuccine noodles; plus a Pasta Guide the dough flows through, and Pasta Screw which turns within that guide.

Suggested Usage:

Machine Set-Up for Breadstick or Rice Cake Maker:

1. Place the Twin Gears in position
2. Use the Breadstick/Rice Cake Blank (Closed Blank) instead of Screens
3. Put the Pulp Discharge Casing into position
4. Tighten the Latching Arm Knobs snugly.
5. Remove the Outlet Adjusting Knob from the Pulp Discharge Outlet and replace it with the Breadstick/Rice Cake Guide.
6. Put a plate under the Rice Cake Guide.

Machine Set-Up for Pasta Maker:

1. Attach the Twin Gear Housing to the main body.
2. Insert the Pasta Screw onto the motor drive shaft (left side as you are looking into the body).
3. Place the Pasta Guide over the Pasta Screw, making sure the long side of the Pasta Guide is on the left.
4. Select the pasta shape desired from the two shapes available on the Pasta Screen and fit it onto the Twin Gear Housing, as shown in one of the product photos.
5. Tighten the Latching Arm Knobs snugly.
6. Place a plate under Pasta Screen.

Preparing Pasta Noodles:

1. Prepare pasta dough (either from scratch from your own recipe, or according to the instructions on a store bought pasta dough mix.
2. Put a few drops of olive oil into the Feeding Chute while running the machine.
3. Feed your pasta dough into Feeding Chute
4. Collect your pasta onto a plate.

Note: You may hear a whistling sound initially, but that will disappear after some dough has been fed through the machine.

Variations: If you use carrot juice rather than plain water when preparing the dough you will get red pasta, or you can use kale juice to get green pasta.
