Each capsule of the Formula / Formule F1 Laxative contains:

Frangula alnus (Alder buckthorn, stem bark): 80 mg
Fumaria officinalis (Fumitory, aerial part): 80 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: Magnesium stearate (vegetable source), hypromellose.
Suggested Usage:
Solution: Take two ampoules daily - one in the morning and in the evening - in a glass of water before meals, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Take daily for 12 days.
Formule F1 Laxative: Take 1 to 2 capsules at bedtime, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Contra-Indications:
Do not use if allergic to the Asteraceae/Compositae/ Daisy family. Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take if you are using anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication; products containing diuretics, thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; or if you have a bile duct obstruction, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, hemmorrhoids, diarrhea, hypokalemia, hypertension, cardiovascular or renal disorders, kidney or liver disease, high or low blood pressure, edema (swelling of the hands, face or feet), acute irritation or inflammation of the stomach, or gastric or duodenal ulcer, liver or gallbladder, or bowel obstruction. Do not use in case of dehydration. Discontinue use of Alterra/Herbasante Spring/Fall Detox Kit if symptoms of liver problems occur.
Cautions and Warnings:
Consult a health care practitioner if raised intraocular pressure or edema occurs. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products that may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to using this Alterra Detox Kit if you have gallstones, faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner immediately if you experience dizziness, vertigo, confusion, weakness or muscle pain, irregular heartbeat and/or difficulty breathing. Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms, and/or diarrhea.
Known Adverse Reactions:
Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
