Although DMSO cannot cure underlying health conditions, it may help temporarily reduce the pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions of the large joints, such as strains and sprains, acute bursitis, and post-traumatic soft tissue injuries, frozen shoulder, or even fractures. DMSO is dimethyl sulfoxide. It's a byproduct from the wood industry. DMSO is a natural, organic compound of sulfur. What its properties are - to be a transporter, and a very safe transporter, so much so that they use it for freezing organs and actually preserving organs in cryonics. DMSO, what the main purpose is, is for ink.
When it's applied topically, it can actually enter into the bloodstream within a matter of minutes. When you apply it, within a few seconds, you start to taste it in your mouth. It's already gone through the salivary glands, into the bloodstream, and you tasted it in your mouth in a matter of seconds. This shows how quickly absorbed this product is. It's an ethyl sulfur base.
Sulfur is more for the methylation group. It helps with a blood cleanser too. When you put DMSO onto the skin, you'll feel the sensation of increased blood flow in this area, almost like it's being engorged with blood, because now all the nutrients are coming there and trying to heal the tissue.

Suggested Usage:
Adults: Apply to affected area as needed, to help temporarily reduce the pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions.
Apply 8-12 ml to affected area 3 times daily as needed. Best used sparingly, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
Avoid applying it immediately after a bath, shower, or swim: wait 30 minutes to an hour, as your pores will be wide open, and too much DMSO can be absorbed, causing irritation or discomfort.
Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children. For external use only.
Ensure hands and area of application are thoroughly cleansed before applying, to avoid transporting those surface materials into the body.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have severe liver or kidney disease.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with water.
There may be some initial warmth or stinging sensation when applied, which is normal, but discontinue use if skin irritation develops.
Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist and/or worsen.
Please note, it is fairly widely reported that DMSO tends to produce a garlic-like taste and breath odour, even when it's used topically on the skin.
