This Probiotic Complex contains 100% Pure Pharmaceutical Grade live microorganisms which have been scientifically tested and clinically proven to be able to benefit our digestion and broader health by contributing to a natural healthy gut flora. These Laktokhan probiotics from Life Choice are recommended to help manage acute infectious diarrhea or antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Product Notes:

These particular probiotic strains have been drawn from humans, so are well-tolerated by humans and will remain within our intestines to do their work of allowing good bacteria to proliferate and helping to crowd out the bad bacteria. This helps digestion and nutrient absorbsion, a gives a boost to the immune system -- something that's sorely needed after taking antibiotics which kill good bacteria along with bad (potentially leading to weakened immunity and intestinal disorders).

In addition to being non-dairy, these types of probiotics are also more convenient than some other strains, since they're shelf-stable (they don't need to be refrigerated), and are blister-packed (they come in 6 plastic 'trays' of foil-covered capsules which can be individually detached to be carried in a purse, jacket pocket, or travel bag).

The four types of "friendly" intestinal micro-flora -- Lactobacillus rhamnosus, acidophilus and casei, and Bifidobacterium longum -- were taken from a healthy person's gastrointestinal tract, and then cultured in a laboratory and processed from there. They were selected for their ability to survive the acid and bile as they pass through the stomach and intestines, to be able implant themselves on specific intestinal receptors. Each capsule also supplies prebiotics to enables those good probiotic bacteria to survive for several years, including 400 mg of FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides), plus inulin, but they will only feed the beneficial bacteria, not the harmful organisms.

In addition to helping people who have taken antibiotics, Laktokhan may also be able to help people with Type 2 Diabetes, who sometimes develop high levels of pathogens in their intestines, which will have a harder time sticking to the intestines when probiotics build the good intestinal bacteria back up.

Probiotics like these may even be able to reduce the duration of cold symptoms by a couple of days!

Today we're going to discuss a probiotic called Laktokhan. Laktokhan is, to me, good bacteria. Laktokhan is an amazing formulation for re-seeding intestinal bacteria. Laktokhan will help your body respond much better with digestion. Clinical studies have shown that it even helps with those that have problems absorbing gluten.

Some people are on prescription drugs or they're on antibiotics. When you take antibiotics, what it's doing is, it's actually depleting your good and your bad bacteria. This is why when people are taking prescription drugs like this you need to re-seed the intestinal bacteria with a natural probiotic.

The difference with Laktokhan, its human strain. What does "human strain" mean? It attaches itself onto the intestinal wall. It is there and it can be absorbed for a longer period of time.

I know how overwhelming it can be when you walk into health stores and see all these probiotics. Some are in the refrigerator, some are on the shelf, some say "60 billion active cells." It's overwhelming; you think, "Well, sixty billion is better than ten, I'll buy that!" No, that's not always the case. More is not necessarily what you need -- you need the right strains.

Laktokhan has the four active strains and ten billion cells. What you're doing is you're giving your body what it normally is accustomed to receiving. This is where you find.... I know that there's a lot of ads on the TV about taking yogurt, they do the little dance and people think that they're really getting active probiotics but really, it's very minuscule.

This product will even help with those that are constipated. I'd recommend that you would try this when you're travelling. The beauty about this is that these are blister pack. Blister pack means that they're encased so there is no oxygen getting to them. When you open the bottle of one that is not blister pack what you're doing is having oxygen oxidization of the whole bottle. The live bacteria is being killed off. Our product stays active for a three year shelf life. How it stays active is we have a prebiotic with it. That's what we call inulin. Inulin actually is a food that the bacteria is feeding off of so it stays alive. So it's a live and active culture that you take into your body in a strain that the body recognizes and your body responds to. Your healing will be much better applied when you take something that doesn't have to change the chemistry, but it recognizes the body's chemistry. This is how this product was produced. Your body will become accustomed to taking it and you will just get the benefits.
