Product Notes:
The active ingredients in Red Yeast Rice (RYR) are its pigments monacolins and ankaflavin, and monacolin K, compounds which can block our bodies' natural ability to produce cholesterol. That has also been bolstered with Policosanol, a compound extracted from the waxes in sugar cane or other plants, which can help improve the ratio of good (HDL) to bad (LDL) cholesterol in the blood, and plant sterols, which can help block the absorption of cholesterol and lower LDL levels.

Each capsule contains:
Red Yeast Rice (Monascus purpureus fermented Oryza sativa) (0.2% monacolin K): 250 mg
Policosanol (Saccharum officinarum – Wax): 20 mg
Free Plant Sterols: 375 mg (Glycine max – Seed) (337.5 mg Combined beta-Sitosterol, Campesterol and Stigmasterol)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Magnesium stearate, Hypromellose (Vegetable Capsule shell).
This RYR supplement is a non-GMO product and contains no wheat, soy, corn or dairy.
Suggested Usage:
Adults: Take two capsules once per day with food, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 24 weeks.
Warnings:
Do not use Nutridom Red Yeast Rice if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Consult a qualified healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are breastfeeding, or are suffering from liver or kidney disease, or have received an organ transplant, or if you are taking other medications (particularly Hydroxymethylglutaryl (HMG) CoA reductase lipid-lowering drug (such as statins), cyclosporine, anti-coagulants (such as warfarin) and/or blood thinners). If you experience muscle pain, tenderness and/or weakness, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
