The product package and insert contain instructions for using Medi-Mat to help soothe neck and back ailments (lying on your back, propping the head up with a towel); to loosen the tightness in your diaphragm and respiratory muscles (lying on your stomach); to loosen tension in the lower lumbar and bottom area (by sitting on it, even on a chair).
How MediMat Works
The Medi Mat has a total of 8,820 acupressure points protruding from the various discs on its surfaces, like the ones shown here. Simply lie down on them, and in just minutes, you'll feel warmth along the parts of your body making contact with the mat, resulting from the increased circulation and blood flow, and your body's natural release of endorphins (the pain relief and happiness hormone).
Activating the pressure points and the circulation in the body like this can not only increase the blood's ability to absorb oxygen and to transport nutrients, but also hastens the removal of harmful metabolic byproducts which routinely build up in the circulatory system.
Ingredients:
MediMat is made of non-toxic, impact-resistant ABS plastic. The ABS plastic components are BPA Free, and the mat comes with a machine-washable, removable cover made from 100% cotton. It also includes a carrying strap.
Suggested Usage:
Start with 15 minutes, and move progressively to 20 to 40 minutes at a time (although it is perfectly safe to fall asleep on it). Daily use is recommended.
