As we age, the ability of our blood vessels to deliver nutrients to muscles decreases, resulting in a loss of endurance. According to recent research, the naturally-occurring compound NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) boosts metabolism, blood vessel growth, cardiovascular functions, and cell maintenance in mice. Research continues into its use for human health.
