Product Notes:

A significant advance in fluoride filtration, Bone Char is a Certified Kosher media that is 100% organic bone char, with 80% calcium phosphate, 10% carbon, and 10% calcium carbonate. Bone Char has no effect on pH, and is not only the perfect natural product designed for safely removing up to 99% of the sodium fluoride that is added to municipal water supplies, but also removes lead and arsenic.
The custom-made filter in this system contains 60 pounds of Hydroxyapatite/Bone Char. It is rated at being able to process 400,000 gallons, for an average of four to six years of service with normal residential use. The input/output valve on the fitting on the top of the filter housing is rated for 1.5 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute).

OPUS recommends that all such water/plumbing products be installed by professionals.
