The Maqui Berry, also known as the Chilean wineberry, is an antioxidant rich superfood that is harvested from the native Patagonian evergreen tree, Aristotelia chilensis. Maqui berries are an excellent source of vitamin C, iron and fiber; the indigenous Mapuche people even used the maqui berry in a traditional fermented tonic called chicha for many generations. The berries' deep purple color comes from the family of pigments called anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are not only responsible for the berries' vibrant color, but also have other health-promoting benefits including anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties. Ingredients:Certified Organic Freeze Dried Maqui Powder (Aristotelia chilensis)
Suggested Usage:Add 1 to 3 teaspoons to water, coconut water, or your favorite juice. (As there are no binders or excipients added, contents may settle even after it is mixed, so continue to stir if mixing it with water or juice, if you are drinking it slowly.)
