Platinum Naturals Oregano + D3 Throat Spray provides 1000 IU of the most absorbable form of it (D3) per spray, along with a premium form of anti-bacterial and anti-viral oregano oil in a convenient spray form.
Oregano oil has been used for many years for multiple purposes, including treating fungal infections, reducing inflammation, healing wounds, relieving pain, providing natural antioxidants, and for killing viruses and bacteria. The most active ingredient in it is a phenolic compound called carvacrol, which can help kill viruses and bacteria by interfering with their ability to replicate.
This particular type - organic, steam-distilled Mediterranean oregano oil - has a very high 80% concentration of carvacrol, and has been suspended in antioxidant-rich grape seed oil as both a medium and a preservative, in a 1:3 ratio.
