Info: Available as 20 Pipette Refills; or as a Kit with 10 Pipettes and a Syringe
We've probably all heard the dictum, "Don't put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear!" and know cotton swabs and hairpins can cause damage or irritation or make the problem worse, but what are we to do to remove hardened, dry or impacted earwax which won't drain out on its own after a bath or shower? Simple: The Squip Kyrosol Ear Wax Removal System.
The two-part Kyrosol system from Squip safely uses both a solution of washing soda and glycerin (with either a premeasured amount, with the original pipette system, or with 10 drops from a 15 ml dropper bottle, in the latest version) to soften and dissolve excess earwax or impacted build-ups, and then delivers warm water through a large syringe style rinser with a special irrigation tip to flush it away.
The 'Otoclear' tip (illustrated below) was designed for optimum safety and effectiveness, and will not damage the ear drum; the syringe enables you to rinse with warm water at your own preferred pace; and the original single dose, individually wrapped pipettes each provide the correct amount of solution without any risk of contamination (as might happen with multiple uses of a different, bottled solution, whose tip you should disinfect after each use), while the new bottles have you place 10 drops in.
The complete Kyrosol Ear Wax Removal Kit now contains:
- one 15 ml dropper bottle of ear wax removal drops solution;
- the Kyrosol Ear Washer/Rinser/Syringe, with
- the Otoclear Safe Irrigation Tip (shown in use at right);
- a Storage Sleeve for the syringe / rinser;
- an Ear Plug (to permit some mobility during the 30 minute wax dissolving process, before you rinse); and,
For the Refills, each single dose Pipette contains: 285 mg Glycerin, 21 mg Sodium Carbonate, and Purified Water, with 20 pipettes in the refill box (Limited Quantity Remaining).
Alternatively, the Ear Wax Removal Drops package contains a 15 ml dropper bottle of the solution (of Glycerin, Sodium Carbonate, and Purified Water) and at least one replacement earplug to enable you to move about while the solution takes effect without having it dribble out of your ear canal.
