Solid-Head Swisspatula in Black

Have you found every spatula you use to flip your eggs or other fried foods keeps melting, chipping or rusting, or snapping on you? Then you need Swissmar's Swisspatulas. They're tough, well-designed, and heat resistant up to 428°F (220°C).

Product Notes:

The Swisspatula with a solid, non-slotted head is suitable for many frying needs. It's bigger than it looks in the photo - its slightly arched handle is over seven and a half inches long before reaching the head (which is about 3 inches across at its widest point) - to help you keep well away from any spatter. It won't scratch your cookware because it's not made of metal, but it is very durable, nevertheless, and is also safe for the dishwasher. It also included a slot on the end of their handle for hanging. It comes in sold black or red colours.

Alternatively, there are some cooking tasks where you might want something even more versatile than a regular spatula head: one that's able to lift, but also capable of stirring, or spooning in ingredients, or scooping out liquids for tasting or serving. Enter the Scoopatula: a Swiss-designed combination scoop and spatula suitable for a myriad of uses, including serving, stirring, mixing, and scraping batters or sauces. The silicone is heat-sealed onto the handle to prevent food from seeping into crevices to contaminate subsequent dishes. The handle is made of 18/10 stainless steel, and includes a loop for hanging, and the silicone head is highly heat resistant: up to 500F/260C. It is 12 inches long (30cm), altogether (the spoon- or scoop-shaped head (which is classified as having a 'Curry' colour) is 3.5" long and as much as 5/8" deep, and the handle is 8" long). It, too, is dishwasher-safe.

Similarly, there may also be times when you use a highly heat resistant brush. As part of their intermediately-priced 'Swissentials' line, Swissmar's Silicone Brushes feature ergonomic handles (with a groove on one side to insert an index finger or thumb into) to ensure comfort as you apply marinades or brush on sauces or melted butter. With a durable Swiss design, it won't warp, melt, fade or discolour. These brushes have 7-1/4 inch long handles (including the hanging loop on the end), and the heads are up to 1-3/4 inches wide, with about 3 dozen 1-1/2 long bristles. The black-coloured handle is made from PA 6/6 with glass fibre, and the silicone head with the flexible, tapered bristles is heat-resistant up to 500F/260C, and are safe to use with non-stick cookware and bakeware. It's dishwasher safe, and the silicone heads (which come in red or orange) can also be removed from the handle for more thorough soaking and cleaning.
