Unlike regular plugs which fit over the drain, these protectors fit neatly inside, collecting hair around it. The cleanup? Simply pull it out after a few showers, wipe it off, and put it back in place. Fits any standard bathtub drain with a snug fit. Save money and your plumbing.

Made to work with virtually any standard bathtub drain (typically 1.5 inches in diameter). Made of 100% BPA-free high-grade silicone. A product similar in appearance and function is sold as 'TubShroom' in some markets.
In order to operate, the hair catcher needs to be inserted into the drain pipe opening, where it will protrude by about half an inch for optimal water flow. Some shower drains may be outfitted with a circular mesh strainer over the drain hole (often affixed by a single screw) which will need to be removed first. For bathtubs equipped with a stopper, in many cases, the stopper can be removed by twisting and wiggling it out. Please determine whether you can access your drain pipe opening before proceeding with your order.
