Tru Earth Bamboo Makeup Remover Rounds are indeed made from bamboo, which many of us think of as a wood, but is actually a grass, whose fibres have been used for many textiles and applications over the years, including cleaning cloths and bamboo rayon pillow covers, not only because it's an abundant and sustainable resource but also because it's naturally resistant to bacteria.
When fashioned into very fine fibers like this, the bamboo material on the front face of these pads is very soft, making it quite suitable for removing makeup from even for the most sensitive skin (including around the eyes). The weave on the other side is a bit rougher; it can either be used to wipe and remove the initial layers makeup, or to do a quick exfoliation, or to wash your body while bathing.
While some may opt to apply makeup remover or micellar water to the rounds to clean, be advised that those solutions tend to bead on top rather than soak right into these pads when dry, so you may either want to dampen them with a little water first, or indeed, just use water to clean with.

Dimensions and Care Instructions:
Each pad is about 8 cm (a little over 3 inches) in diameter and about half an inch thick, when dry.
They come with a fairly small mesh sack with a drawstring, that's made out of cotton, which is large enough to hold them all. (As shown in the second product photo.)
Use the sack to store each pad in, after you use them to remove makeup or skincare products or to wash your body. Then just pull on the drawstring to close the bag, and launder it in a washing machine like any other coloured item. Then take out the pads and place them atop the bag on a flat surface to let them air dry, which will happen fairly quickly in most cases.
