To help repair and regenerate joint cartilage tissue and reduce joint pain associated with osteoarthritis, FORTIGEL is a special blend of collagen peptides (small chains of amino acids derived from animal collagen) designed to be especially well absorbed and to be able to get transported to our joints to stimulate the collagenous matrix there to synthesize new collagen.

Product Notes:

Our bodies produce and renew its own joint cartilage – the smooth, shiny tissue ranging from about 1 to 6 mm thick consisting mostly of collagen which covers the surface of many of our bones where they meet to absorb the shock and enable smooth movement – from scratch, using nutrients such as the amino acid lysine.

But our diets don't always provide enough of the needed constituents, and our ability to produce collagen declines as we age, so movement injuries and wear and tear can result in longer recovery times or lingering pains in our hands or feet, knees, hips, or spinal joints.

A great natural way to address that is to provide a continuous supply of short-chain amino acids which the chondrocyte cells – the main type of cells that makes up the matrix in our cartilage connective tissue – can use to produce more collagen directly at the joints.

The Bioactive Collagen Peptides in CanPrev's Collagen Joint & Cartilage powder has been scientifically proven to be able to just that, to stimulate the synthesis of new joint cartilage tissue mass, by providing peptides of just the right size (3 kilodaltons [3kDa]) to induce the vast majority of the relevant receptors in the body to ramp up its production of that type of tissue. Consumers have experienced significant pain relief and increased mobility after just a few weeks of regular use.
