There are three major types of omega-3 fatty acids: EPA and DHA, which are well-known from fish oils (whose taste is not to everyone's fancy), and ALA (Alpha-linolenic acid, which is sometimes abbreviated as LNA), which is mainly found in plant foods such as nuts and seeds and certain green leafy vegetables. Flaxseed oil is the richest source of plant-based omega 3 ALA, which our livers are able to effectively 'leverage' small amounts of by converting into relatively high amounts of EPA and DHA that you might otherwise have to take several fish oil capsules for.

Suggested Usage:
