Flor-Essence is the Ultimate Detox, both for the kidneys and even for the whole body! It functions as a diuretic (to stimulate urine production), a diaphoretic (to induce perspiration), and an alterative (to alter a disease, purify blood, increase appetite, improve digestion and eliminate toxins) to help remove accumulated waste products from your body via the kidneys, skin and mucus membranes.
For hundreds of years, this herbal tea blend was a secret known only to the North American Ojibwa tribe, described as "the holy drink which brings the body back into balance with great spirit." This knowledge was passed on to the Canadian nurse Rene Caisse, who researched and further developed the formula with Dr. Charles Brusch, the former personal physician to President John F. Kennedy.

- the already prepared herbal tea blend packaged in a non-reactive, recyclable dark amber glass bottle (but due to the weight and fragility of this item, extra shipping costs may apply; if so, you will be notified before proceeding with the order); or,
- a box of three 21g foil-lined packets which can each be used to prepare 1 litre of the cleanse, at home (the process involves boiling in a pot for about 15 minutes, allowing to steep at room temperature for about 12 minutes, heating almost to a boil again, and then straining into your own sealed glass container(s) to refrigerate).

When prepared as directed, per 1 tablespoon (15 mL) of prepared herbal tea is extracted from:
Burdock root* (Arctium lappa): 171 mg

Slippery elm bark* (Ulmus rubra): 21 mg
Blessed thistle aerial parts* (Cnicus benedictus): 8 mg

Rhubarb root* (Rheum palmatum): 5 mg
Non-medicinal Ingredient: Certified organic Kelp.
Both types are alcohol free, and contain no caffeine, preservatives, or artificial colours.
Suggested Usage:
For occasional use only.
Adults: Shake well before use. Take 3 tablespoons three times daily. Dilute with an equal amount of unfluoridated, filtered hot water and sip slowly. Preferably take 1/2 hour before breakfast and lunch, and on an empty stomach before bed.
Detoxification reactions including mild headaches, nausea and flu-like symptoms may occur; in which case, reduce initial dose to 1 tablespoon daily for the first week, and gradually increase to the recommended dose thereafter.
CHILDREN: Use half those amounts.
After opening (or preparing, using the enclosed instructions) keep FlorEssence refrigerated to prevent fermentation, and consume within 3 weeks / 21 days.
Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use Flor-Essence while pregnant or nursing; or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae / Compositae / Daisy / Polygonaceae / Brassicaceae family; or are taking products containing diuretics; or have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes, or edema (swelling of the hands, face and feet).
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have a medical condition or if you are taking any medications.
Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat, or difficulty breathing.
Discontinue use if abdominal pain, diarrhea or vomiting occurs for over 3 days.
Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
